Description:
Not sure what to drink? You will never go wrong reaching for an Amber Lager — especially one that comes from Bizarre Brewing, like today’s Alone with the Owl.
This is exactly the kind of brew that the beloved Seattle brewery excels at!
To create it, they started with a complex grain bill of Pilsner, Vienna, and crystal rye malts from their friends at Sugar Creek Malt Co. Then they hopped it in the kettle with Czech Saaz and Mandarina Bavaria before open fermenting the beer with their house Lager yeast.
And to finish it off, they spunded the beer for natural, frothy carbonation.
Put it all together, and you’ve got a stellar any-time swigger! Hints of toasted bread and a dash of honey balance beautifully against a whisper of wildflower bitterness and nuances of marmalade. A bit of lingering bitterness on the crisp finish beckons you back for sip after sip.
It’s so easy drinking that you can session a couple of cans during a World Cup game, and it makes an excellent quencher after finishing up some yard work. But this crusher is also robust enough to stand up to a pulled pork sandwich or a plate of ribs.
In short, this is the kind of brew you’ll want to crack open no matter what you’ve got going on.
