The de Garde team are masters at crafting fascinatingly layered sippers fermented with the ambient yeast and microflora that inhabit their coastal Oregon brewery — and The Frais à L’Orange is a prime example! 

To create it, they infused a spontaneously fermented Wild Ale with fresh Amarillo Hops and freshly grated orange zest. And because it aged for three years in oak, you can expect plenty of funky complexity.

Bright pops of citrus and hay perfume every luminous pour. Swirl the glass, and tangy orange nuances swell through each dry sip, grounded by earthy and grassy tones. Whispers of juicy stone fruit flicker around the edges, before touches of pithy and piney bitterness complete the snappy finish.
