Marigold flowers are beautiful, but did you know they’re also delicious? It’s true! And you can find all the proof you’ll need in a bottle of Goldie.
The brewers at Fair Isle crafted this Saison-style beer with a selection of Rhone varietal grapes, then steeped it with locally grown marigold flowers from Duvall Herb Farm.
The blossoms should add nuances of red grapefruit and Meyer lemon that beautifully complement the tangy base beer. Expect hints of snappy grape swirling into floral notes that will ease you towards a dry finish.
We suggest drinking it as you admire some beautiful flowers. Whether that means a blanket in the park, lounging in the back yard, or gazing out the window from your favorite chair is entirely up to you.
