Last year’s batch of Oba was good, but we think this one is going to be even better!

The World Beer Cup-winning brewers at Fair Isle crafted this vintage by refermenting their mildly funky, Saison-style base with Bing cherries. Then they steeped it on red shiso leaves grown by their friends at Duvall Herb Farm. 

We’re looking forward to a beautifully balanced sip that weaves together nuances of sweet-tart stone fruit and tender herbs with whispers of baking spices. Expect rich notes of homemade fruit leather grounding bright pops of pineapple and sour cherry. Meanwhile, hints of hay, green tea, and allspice ought to round out the taste on the way to a crisp, dry finish.

We’re betting a glass will be incredible with a grilled pork loin or some seared salmon. And since it comes in a 750 mL bottle, there’s enough to share!
