Today marks the first time we’ve ever shared Parabolita Mocha Latte. This bourbon barrel aged Milk Stout from masters of oak at Firestone Walker features additions of vanilla beans, cacao nibs, and coffee flowing through a silky smooth body with a 9.2% ABV.
And for most of you Stout fans, that’s probably all we have to say. You already know how good the FW crew is. You’ve tried other beers in their Parabola Stout series. You’re not reading this, because you already grabbed a few cans.
You’re probably just as excited as we are to get a taste of this variant.
We’re expecting rich mocha nuances and luscious fudgy flavors drizzled with whiskey caramel and tinged with subtle whispers of oak. Creamy vanilla should make for a ridiculously smooth finish, even by this brewery’s lofty standards.
When we get our hands on this beer, we won’t hesitate for a second — it’s going directly into a pint glass. If you like to join us in a toast to Firestone Walker’s consistently stellar Stouts, you know what to do.
