When it came to his famous whiskey, Jim Beam famously said you should “Drink it any damn way you please!”

So I’ll take mine in the form of a 4.52 UT-rated Stout from Horus Aged Ales.

To make this exceptional sip, brewery founder Kyle Harrop let a thick base age in Jim Beam bourbon barrels for 24 months. And he conditioned the brew on chocolate, Geisha coffee, hazelnut, and vanilla for a mouthful so decadent, even Mr. Beam would be impressed!

Look for soaring nutty notes coated in dense fudgy flavors. Top shelf whisky adds nuances of caramel and oak before mocha roastiness comes through on the finish.

So how should you drink it? We might recommend splitting this bottle with a good friend after a dinner of steak and potatoes. But the only real answer is “any damn way you please.”
