For this rare sipper, the Oregon craft legends started with a complex Saison base before aging it in white wine barrels. Then, taking inspiration from friends at Steven Smith Teas and their Rose City Genmaicha green tea, they conditioned it on rose petals, puffed brown rice, and Steven Smith’s own Japanese sencha tea.
We’re anticipating floral aromas to waft out of every golden pour, inviting us in for a sip. Each quaff should dance with spritely effervescence, carrying delicate notes of lemongrass, toasted sourdough, and verdant tea. Look for rose and pepper tones from the base giving it all impressions of muddled sage on a refreshing finish that begs another taste.
