The team at Revolution aged their Wee Heavy in American oak bourbon barrels, layering notes of wood and whiskey caramel onto the malty base.
Sticky toffee tones mingle with nuances of raisin, date, and fig in each wee dram. Currents of charred oak, leather, and smooth vanilla follow before the rich finish fades out on gentle hints of spice and a smooth, boozy warmth.
We recommend pairing this one with a backyard bonfire, a rewatch of Braveheart, or some Simpsons reruns.
But if you think your Scottish brogue sounds just grand, it’s probably that 13.5% ABV talking!
