Schramm’s makes some of the finest Meads you’ll find anywhere in the world. They’re even responsible for a whopping 15 of the top 50 Melomels on all of Untappd!
Year Five is too rare to make it into those rankings, but knowing Schramm’s, it ought to be every bit as good.
The team crafted it with top quality honey and nearly the entire fifth harvest from their own orchard. That estate-grown bounty includes 35 distinct varieties of fruit — red, black, pink, and white currants; three types of gooseberries; red, golden, and purple raspberries; Japanese wineberries; loganberries; plums, seven cherry varieties, two types of peaches; strawberries; AND honeyberries.
The lucky few who have been able to taste it already are calling Year Five an “incredible masterpiece,” “an amazing treat from the greatest meadery,” and “one of the best Meads I’ve ever had.”
We’re anticipating sweet, rich nuances of mixed berry jam, cherry pie filling, and peach cobbler accented with hints of tangy fruit.
