Description:
It can be hard to remember that there was once a time before Mosaic Hops. Yakima Valley released these superstar cones back in 2012 — the same year America was obsessed with Gangnam Style, Fifty Shades of Grey, and the first Hunger Games movie.
Triple Crossing first brewed the 4.26 UT-rated Battle Creek around that era, featuring 100% Mosaic. And as the years have passed, “our ability to select our lots of Mosaic has made brewing this beer even more special.”
Crack one open, and it’s easy to see why they keep bringing this DIPA back! Rivers of juice course through the fluffy, wheat-filled sip, flowing from citrusy, to tropical, to dank. Bright passion fruit notes cascade into succulent hints of overripe papaya and tangerine. Earthy undercurrents provide a grassy dankness and balanced bitterness that keeps you coming back for more.
We suggest enjoying this one while you brush up on your Hunger Games lore ahead of Sunrise on the Reaping, play Halo with your gaming group, or practice your K-pop dance moves.
Just watch out for that barely-there 8% ABV, or you may end up telling all your friends what you really think about Fifty Shades!
