If Portent is an omen, then it’s a sign you’re about to enjoy some seriously dialed-in suds.
Wanderment aged this soft-bodied, spelt-filled, mixed culture brew in oak barrels before conditioning it on Colorado wildflower honey, Motueka, and Strata Hops, giving every sip an incredible complexity.
Each tangy taste swells with earthy nuances and bright hints of tropical citrus. Notes of passion fruit, lemongrass, and lime zest illuminate dried grass, lavender, and sage tones, while hints of tilled soil ground the gulp.
Add to that a bitter backbone and balanced, anytime 6.7% ABV, and we think this delectable Farmhouse Ale will make an amazing pairing with a nice meal or some light bites, possibly with a good friend.
But with so much character to explore, I have a funny feeling it’s not going to last long…
